For men · after prostate surgery

After surgery, every step back toward control.

Prostate surgery saves your health, but often costs you bladder control. The pelvic floor now has to do the work on its own. With targeted training, many men regain their continence faster. MyPelvi guides you along the way: discreetly, sitting down, fully clothed, in 22 minutes.

Common after surgery:

When daily life suddenly revolves around control .

Leaking under strain

When you stand up, cough, lift or walk, urine leaks involuntarily.

Dependence on pads

The day gets planned around pads and changes.

Insecurity

You don't know whether or when control will come back.

Withdrawal

Activities, travel and sport get avoided.

Why does this happen?

The pelvic floor now carries the whole responsibility.

When the prostate is removed, the inner closure mechanism can be affected. Continence then depends more strongly on the pelvic floor: it now has to actively close the urethra. If it's untrained, urine leaks. This is exactly where targeted training is crucial: the stronger and more controllable the pelvic floor, the faster control returns. MyPelvi activates it with thousands of controlled contractions per session, far more than would be possible on your own.

Frequently asked questions

Honest answers after surgery.

When can I start after prostate surgery?+
In consultation with your treating doctor, often after the catheter has been removed and the initial healing is complete. At your trial appointment we'll figure out the right time together.
Does pelvic floor training really help with incontinence after surgery?+
Pelvic floor training is considered a key building block of rehabilitation after a prostatectomy. A specifically strengthened pelvic floor helps many men regain continence faster and more fully.
Is the treatment strenuous after surgery?+
No. You sit fully clothed in the chair for 22 minutes, and the activation is painless. We start gently and build up at your own pace.
Can I combine this with rehab and medical supervision?+
Yes, absolutely. MyPelvi doesn't replace medical treatment but specifically complements your aftercare. Talk to your doctor; we're happy to work hand in hand.
Is it too late if my surgery was a while ago?+
No. Even months or years after surgery, the pelvic floor can be trained and strengthened. The effect is individual; in most cases it's worth a try.
Do I have to undress?+
No, you stay fully clothed and sit on the chair. No examination, no skin contact — experienced as pleasant especially after surgery.
How does a session work?+
You sit fully clothed on a special chair. A highly focused electromagnetic field activates your pelvic floor: thousands of targeted contractions per session, far more than you could ever achieve through active exercise alone.
Who is MyPelvi not suitable for?+
With a pacemaker or other electronic implants, as well as with certain acute conditions, the application is not possible or only after consulting a doctor. Before the first session we clarify this in a brief health check.
What does a trial session cost?+
The first trial session is free and without obligation. We'll advise you on prices and packages transparently on site, completely without pressure.
