More back from your core for your sport
In short: The pelvic floor is part of the deep core, which works with almost every sporting movement from force transfer during lifting to stability during jumps and directional changes. Targeted training can strengthen this core. It complements your sport training but is not a replacement.

Why performance is partly decided by your core
The force you generate in your arms and legs is transferred through your core, whether you are sprinting, throwing or lifting weights. Together with the deep abdominal muscles, the deep back muscles and the diaphragm, the pelvic floor forms this core and also regulates pressure in the abdomen. If it is weakened or poorly activated, stability is lost, and with it part of the power transfer. The good news: even in people who are active in sport, the pelvic floor can be trained in a targeted way.
Two Starting positions
- Efficient power transfer under load
- More confidence in jumps & changes of direction
- Less strain on the back under load
- Power is lost on its way to the arms/legs
- Pelvic floor barely noticeable or weakened
- Unintentional urine leakage possible during exertion
Drops in performance or symptoms during sport have many possible causes. Whatever is behind yours should be assessed by a doctor or sports medicine specialist — this guide is no substitute for athletic training or physiotherapy.
The deep core, precisely activated.
Many people barely feel their pelvic floor during normal training, precisely because it sits deep and is hard to activate consciously. MyPelvi activates it in a targeted way: you sit fully clothed for 22 minutes, guided by trained staff. This helps you build awareness, strength and control in your core, as a complement to your existing sports or athletic training. Results vary from person to person; MyPelvi is no substitute for sports training or medical treatment.
