How pelvic floor training can support the back muscles

The pelvic floor muscles are connected to the iliac bones, pubic bone and sacrum through the surrounding connective tissue. Targeted training could help release tension in the lower abdomen and reduce associated sensations of tightness. At the same time, a stronger pelvic floor may contribute to greater core stability – one possible element in supporting freer movement and a better sense of body awareness.

Note: Effects may vary between individuals. This is not a medical treatment within the meaning of the Heilmittelwerbegesetz.

A strong pelvic floor may help stabilise the core and, in turn, relieve strain on the lower back. Regular training can activate muscle groups that may be relevant to posture, control and wellbeing. It may also have a positive effect on circulation and sensations of tension in the pelvic area. Important: a tense pelvic floor should first be relaxed in a targeted way – only then can strengthening begin. This process takes patience, but it is a key step towards a more stable core. MyPelvi can support this process with technology. It uses magnetic-field pulses to activate deeper muscles – while you sit comfortably, in a time-efficient format that fits into everyday life.*

Note: The application is not a substitute for medical or therapeutic treatment. Results may vary between individuals. No promises of a cure or effectiveness are made.
